Blauvelt, NY (9/10/05)Dominican College women’s soccer player, Katrina VanAlstyne, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week, as was announced by the conference office this afternoon.

VanAlstyne tallied two game-winning goals in leading Dominican to two CACC victories last week. Her first game winner, also her first collegiate goal, came at 97:31 in an overtime win against Nyack College, 1-0. In a 3-2 win against Bloomfield College, she netted the final goal.

A freshman from Cairo, NY, VanAlstyne has started in all five games for the Lady Chargers this year.
