Wilmington, DE (10/17/05) The Lady Lightning of Goldey Beacom College defeated the Dominican College Lady Chargers, 1-0 this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference soccer action.

Lori Knabb netted the game winning goal at 66:24 off the assist by Jessica Manlove.

The Lady Lightning out shot the Lady Chargers 22-14.

DC keeper Allison Comentino (Ellenville, NY) had 12 saves, while GBC keeper Stephanie Steele had 8 saves.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Wednesday, October 19 as they host Caldwell College in CACC action. The day will also honor four Lady Chargers Seniors.
