Pace Upends Dominican, 1-0

Blauvelt, NY (10/28/05)The Pace University womens soccer team held on to defeat Dominican College, 1-0 this afternoon at the Dominican College soccer field.

Marta Anderson-Winchell (Bloomingburg, NY) netted the games lone goal in the 32nd minute of play off the assist by Allison Levine (Ellicott City, MD).

The setters dominated the game, outshooting DC 19-3. Pace also had the advantage in corner kicks, 7-2.

Dominican keeper Sara Cordaro (Poughkeepsie, NY) had eight saves in the loss.

The #4 Lady Chargers will begin CACC Tournament action on Monday as they host #5 seeded Wilmington College at 2pm.
