DOMINICAN'S PORTER EARNS ALL-CACC HONORABLE MENTION HONORS

Orangeburg, NY (11/3/08) Dominican College women's soccer player, Margaret Porter, has received All-CACC Honorable Mention honors as was announced today by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) office. The conference's 12 head coaches conducted the voting for the awards.

Orangeburg, NY (11/3/08) Dominican College women's soccer player, Margaret Porter, has received All-CACC Honorable Mention honors as was announced today by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) office. The conference's 12 head coaches conducted the voting for the awards.

Porter, a sophomore midfielder who hails from Neptune, NJ, currently leads the team with five goals this season in fifteen games. She also leads the team in total points (12) and is tied for second with two assists. She is ranked sixth in the CACC in shots and first in shots per game.

Dominican is currently 6-10-1 overall and 5-5-1 in conference play. DC secured the last playoff spot with a 3-2 victory over Felician College on 10/29 on Senior Day at the DC Soccer Field.

The #8 Lady Chargers are traveling to top seeded, Philadelphia University, this afternoon in the CACC Quarter-Finals.
