LEE FINISHES IN TIE FOR 23RD PLACE AT NCAA EAST/ATLANTIC REGIONAL

Orangeburg, NY (5/6/09) Dominican College golfer, AJ Lee, finished in a two-way tie for 23rd place at the 2009 NCAA East/Atlantic Golf Regional held at The Resort at Glade Springs: Cobb Course.

Orangeburg, NY (5/6/09)  Dominican College golfer, AJ Lee, finished in a two-way tie for 23rd place at the 2009 NCAA East/Atlantic Golf Regional held at The Resort at Glade Springs: Cobb Course.

Lee, a senior from Nanuet, NY, was the top individual out of four qualifiers from the East Region to compete at the Regionals.   

For the three-day tournament, Lee shot a combined score of 234 (+18) to place him in a tie for 23rd place with Patrick Schwarze of St. Thomas Aquinas College.  On day one he shot a 77, followed by rounds of 79 and 78 for the 234 total score.

During yesterday's round, Lee was able to birdie holes six and eighteen, while struggling on holes eight and fifteen with a double bogey and a triple bogey.  Bogeys on holes seven, ten and sixteen led him to a final day round of 78 (+6).
