WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL EXTENDS WINNING STREAK
Philadelphia, PA (10/9/10) The Dominican College women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to six straight matches after defeating host, the University of the Sciences, 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16) this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match held at Bobby Morgan Arena.
Philadelphia, PA (10/9/10) The Dominican College women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to six straight matches after defeating host, the University of the Sciences, 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16) this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match held at Bobby Morgan Arena.
Dominican was led by sophomore outside hitter Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, NY) with 13 kills. Senior Kerianne Dudley (Nanuet, NY) added 11 kills, while freshman Randi Garrett (Rockledge, FL) tallied eight kills.
Setter Whitney Ranger (Ventura, CA) had a game leading 32 assists, while Jordyn Fuller (Keller, TX) and Catherine Giordano (Stony Point, NY) contributed 25 and 21 defensive digs in the victory.
Following the victory Dominican improves to 11-12 overall and 8-2 in the CACC, while USCI falls to 5-8 overall and 3-7 in conference play.
Dominican is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to CACC opponent, Concordia College, for a 7pm match.
