VOLLEYBALL EXTENDS WINNING STREAK WITH VICTORY OVER UNIVERSITY OF THE SCIENCES

(10/13/12) The Dominican College women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to 10 matches this afternoon after defeating host, University of the Sciences, 3-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played at Bobby Morgan Arena. With the win, the Lady Chargers improve to 16-7 overall and 12-0 in conference play.

Senior outside hitter Courtney Heard (Ventura, Calif.) led all attackers with a career high 18 kills and a match high .389 attack percentage.
Tori Dexter (Selah, Wash.) posted the match's only double-double with 12 kills and 12 defensive digs.
Senior setter Whitney Ranger* (Ventura, Calif.) had a match high 38 assists.
Libero Jordyn Fuller* (Keller, Texas) had a team leading 20 defensive digs, while N'Jameh Philip (Monroe, N.Y.) added 14 digs.
Kristen Loney* (Pine Bush, N.Y.) tallied six kills for a .455 attack percentage.
Dominican is back in action on Friday evening as they travel to Post University in a CACC match scheduled for 7pm.
