New Haven, Conn. (9/30/25) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team fell in non-conference action to the Owls of Southern Connecticut State University by a score of 3-0.
The Lady Chargers fall to 4-6 overall while the Owls improve to 8-3.
The Owls rolled in the opening set taking it 25-11 to jump out in front 1-0. Dominican battled in the second set but fell 27-25 and then fell 25-23 in the third set.
Trinity Parkin led the way in kills with eight while adding eight digs and two service aces. Layla Shipley finished with four kills and Savannah Tody added three kills.
Reagan McCullough picked up a team-high 11 assists while Kaeden Sanstead added six assists. Kylie Flynn recorded a team-high 12 digs.
Dominican returns to action and conference play tomorrow night on the road against north division rival Felician University.
