DOMINICAN CAPTURES 2021 CACC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WITH ROAD WIN AT GCU

Lakewood, N.J. (3/6/21) Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) poured in 25 points and ripped down 10 rebounds to collect most valuable player honors and lead Dominican College to an impressive 81-65 win over Georgian Court University in the 2020-21 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Championship Final on Saturday afternoon at the Wellness Center in Lakewood, N.J. The second-seeded Chargers improved to 12-1 overall and locked up the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament next week in Buffalo, N.Y. The top-seeded Lions suffered their first loss of the season (8-1), but will most likely earn an at-large to the regional tournament. The announcement will be made on Sunday night at 10 p.m., at NCAA.com(.)
