ELEVEN WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYERS NAMED TO 2025 CACC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
2025 CACC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team
New Haven, Conn. (6/10/25) Sixty-two student-athletes were named to the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The honorees represent all 10 member institutions which sponsor the sport.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the end of the immediately preceding term (cumulative gpa is based off of grades through the fall 2024 semester), must be enrolled for at least two full-time semesters at his/her current institution, and must be a second-year student-athlete at his/her current institution. The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
CACC champion Dominican University New York earned the most honorees in the conference with 11. The University of Bridgeport placed 10 student-athletes on the list. Seventeen qualifying student-athletes own undergraduate GPAs of 3.90 or higher. Leading the way were Kaley Maxwell of Bridgeport, Caitlin Petrellese of Georgian Court University and Sydney Strohmayer of Dominican, all of whom maintain 3.98 figures.
Eleven players from DUNY received recognition as Erin Carr, Caitlin Costello, Domenica DaCosta, Grace DeStasio, Madelyn Grella, Lea Henke, Meaghan Kennedy, Josie Lettieri, Alexa Preston, Emily Sheridan and Strohmayer were all named to the team.
