WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL UPENDS BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE

(10/5/12) The Dominican College women's volleyball team defeated Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division foe, Bloomfield College, 3-1, this evening in a match played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. With the win, Dominican improves to 12-7 overall and 8-0 in conference play.

With the win, Dominican improves to 12-7 overall and 8-0 in conference play.
Dominican took set one by a score of 25-17 but fell in set two 22-25. The Lady Chargers charged ahead with a set three win by the score of 25-10 to go ahead 2-1 in the match and closed out the match with a 25-16 set four victory.
Freshman Tori Dexter (Selah, Wash.) led three Lady Chargers in kills with 11. Senior outside hitter Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, N.Y.) had the team's only double-double with 10 kills and 11 defensive digs.
Senior Courtney Heard (Ventura, Calif.) also tallied 10 kills in the match.
Setter Whitney Ranger* (Ventura, Calif.) recorded a match leading 43 assists and added eight digs.
Libero Jordyn Fuller* (Keller, Texas) had a match high 14 digs.
DC returns to action tomorrow at the Hennessy Center as they face CACC foe, Chestnut Hill College.
